Objective To investigate the value of the ultrasound-guided Mammotome minimally invasive biopsy system in the removal of benign breast masses. Method 224 breast bumps from 182 cases were removed in the ultrasound-guided by Minimally invasive surgery. The entire process was in Ultrasonic real-time monitoring, and all the resected tissue were sent to pathologicl examination. 224 breast bumps from 182 cases are for biopsy breast lesions and excised completely by using Mammot0me of minimally invasive biopsy system. Results 182 cases (224 tumors) are all on resection at one time, surgical ablation time is from 7 min to 50min, the average time is 28.5 min. potary frequency is from 3 times to 21 times, on average 12 times; cutting the specimens to be cylindrical, the strips are frome 3 to 21, and about 12 on average; blood loss was about 1~lOml in surgery, 5.5ml on average. Pathology results 9 atypical hyperplasia, 3 intraductal papillomas, 7 cysts (one for apocrine sweat glands cysts), 136 for breast fibroadenoma (one for the lactating adenoma),the rest were adenoses accompany fibroma tendency, the incision healed well, and there was no infection occurred. Conclusion Ultrasound-guided Mammotome minimally invasive biopsy system can draw the tissue for biopsy, which as one way of a early diagnosis and treatment of breast lesions, with the advantage of accuracy localization, safety, little trauma, and few complications. it is a minimally breast invasive technique and should be promoted. |
