Objective To explore the changes of the serum inde xes related to fatty liver an d the prevalence rates of the high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes of the patients with fatty liver. Methods Physical examination data of 362 patients with fatty liver were collected in the Drum Tower hospital health examination center. These data were compared with the health examination data of 362 non-fatty live r people of sex-and age matched within 3 years according to the fatty liver cases. Results The body mass index (BMI) of the fa tty liver group was significantly higher than that of normal group. Meanwhile the differences of triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TCH), low density lipoprotein choleste rol (LDL-C), apolipoprotein B (Apo B), the blood glucose in empty stomach, alan ine aminotransferase (ALT), systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pr essure (DBP) between the fatty liver group and control group were significant. And the high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) level of fat ty li ver patients was lower than that of control group. The prevalence rates of the high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes of the patients with fatty liver were high er than that of control people. Conclusions The occurrence of f atty liver is related not only to the disturbance of lipid metabolism but als o to the blood gl ucose, blood pressure, and BMI. The prevalence rates of the high blood pressure , obesity, and diabetes of the patients with fatty liver are higher than those o f control people. |
