Objective The purpose of the study was to applying the mechanisms of ischemic brain after experimental intracerebral hemorrhage.Methods With the prospective random single blind method, 182 cases of acute intracerebral hemorrhage patients who are confirmed by CT scan randomly accepted the treatment of nimotop or pure mannitol within 72 hours after onset of hemorrhage.The two groups are compared with the indexes of the score difference of neurologic defects and the hematomas absorptive rate.Result The average decreased scores of neurologic defects with treatment of nimotop at each time point and the hematoma absorptive rate are better than that in the routine treatment group.Conclusion Nimotop is a safe and effective new method in treatment of acute intracerebral hemorrhage.
