Objective The article introduced the method of regular scan and three dimensional reconstruction in spiral CT angiography, and evaluated its clinical application in aortic diseases.Method Eight cases of aortic disease were analized retrospectively with scan parameter of 5~7?mm collimation and 1~2 pitch. The images were reconstructed with three?dimensional software in workstation.Result Multiposition volume reconstruction(MPVR) well demonstrated the intimal flap of dissecting aneurysm and the extent of thrombus;Surface shaded display(SSD) well showed the body of abdominal aneurysm, and its shape, size and relationship to surrounding vessles;Maximum intensity projection(MIP) well displayed the calcification of the vascular wall;CT virtual endoscope(CTVE) can showed the inner wall of the arota and orifice of its branches. Conclusion Spiral CT angiography is a noninvasive method for evaluating aortic disease, and provides valuable information for clinical diagnosis. |
