Objective To evaluate the effects of nylestriol, fenofibrate, and the combination of both on serum lipid in postmenopausal women with dyslipidemia. Methods The mass-surveyed patients were randomized into three groups to perform a single-blind clinical therapy, whose lipid were measured or observed before and after taking these drugs. The data was evaluated by statistical analyses. Results After 6 months’ of medication, the parameters in serum lipid were changed, total cholesterol (TC) calculated (19.36%,10.86% and 20.69%) decreased,LDL?C (38.08%,29.66% and 42.31%) decreased,HDL?C (46.87%,23.00% and 73.46%) increased, triglyceride (TG) (11.11%,38.27% and 46.51%) decreased,res-pectively.When comparing group A,C and Group B,levels of Kupperman in postmenopause symptom,FSH and E 2 deceased significantly. Conclusion Administration of nylestriol alone resulted in increased levels of the HDL?C and the cure postmenopause symptom in postmenopausal women with dyslipidemia.Nevertheless it is less effective in lowering TG levels. On the contrary fenofibrate itself proves to be better in lowering levels of TG,but less effective in decreasing the levels of TC.Therefore the combination of the two drugs can reduce levels of TC,and decrease triglycerides,as well as improve postmenopause symptom. |
