Objective: To observe the effect of point electroacupuncture on intractable hiccups of postoperative gastric carcinoma. Methods:90 patients were randomly divided into drinking group, medicine group and electroacupuncture stimulation group, 30 patients in each group. Drinking group received oral treatment with warm water to swallow.Medicine group received scopolamine, metoclopramide and intramuscular injection to protect the gastric mucosa conventional, nutritional support therapy. Treatment group treated by electroacupuncture stimulation of acupoint at neiguan, zusanli,geshu. All statistical curative effects were calculated after treatment for 6 times. Results: Drinking group:7 cases(23.30%) were cured, improved in 4 cases (13.30%), total efficiency was 36.70%; Medicine group:13 cases (43.30%)were cured, improved in 6 cases (20.00%), total efficiency was 63.30%; Acupuncture treatment group: 17 patients (56.67%)were cured, improved in 9 patients(30.00%),the total efficiency was 86.67%. There was significant difference between the acupuncture treatment group and the drink group(P <0.01). There was significant difference between the acupuncture treatment group and the medicine group(P <0.05). Conclusion: Point acupuncture treatment for intractable hiccups after colorectal cancer is effective. |
