Objective:To investigate the expression of nucleobindin-2 protein in cancer tissue and its correlation with clinicopathological features and prognosis of patients with endometrial carcinoma. Methods:98 cases with endometrial cancer gynecology diagnosed in our hospital were selected as the endometrial cancer group, and 24 cases with normal endometrium, 36 cases with complex hyperplasia by surgical resection or outpatient cases, and 42 cases of endometrial atypical hyperplasia scraping were selected.The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and immunohistochemical method were used to detect the expression of nucleobindin-2 protein. Results:The expression level of nucleobindin-2 protein in complex hyperplasia group, atypical endometrial hyperplasia group and endometrial cancer group were higher than that of normal endometrium group, and the expression level of atypical endometrial hyperplasia group was higher than that in complex hyperplasia group, the expression of nucleobindin-2 protein in endometrial cancer group was higher than that of complex hyperplasia group and atypical endometrial hyperplasia group, the differences were statistically significant (t=10.231, 11.343, 13.432, 12.453, 10.871, 11.094, P<0.05).The nucleobindin-2 positive rate were gradually increased in the normal endometrium group, complex hyperplasia group, atypical endometrial cancer group and endometrial hyperplasia group, and the difference were statistically significant (χ2=26.241, P<0.01).The relationship between the expression of nucleobindin-2 protein and age was not obvious(χ2=0.232, P>0.05). The expression level of nucleobindin-2 protein was positively correlated with pathological grade, pathological types, TMN stage, invasion depth, lymph vascular space invasion, lymph node metastasis, and the higherpathological staging, the higher the stage of TMN, the depth of invasion deeper, lymph vascular space invasion, lymph node metastasis, the higherexpression rate of nucleobindin-2, and the difference were statistically significant (χ2=6.112, 20.312, 10.121, 24.152, 7.723, 8.734, P<0.05 or P<0.01).The 3 years survival rate and survival time nucleobindin-2 in the negative group were significantly higher than that in the nucleobindin-2 positive group, the difference was statistically significant (χ2=14.697, 12.993, P<0.05). Conclusion:The expression of nucleobindin-2 protein in endometrial carcinoma is higher than that in normal endometrial tissue.The nucleobindin-2 protein play an important role in the occurrence and development of endometrial cancer.The patients with low expression of nucleobindin-2 protein can obtain better prognosis.
